A game for runners on the real map. As you run you draw a trail; when you close a loop, everything inside becomes your territory. You can steal territory from other players and cut their trails, and they can do the same to you.

Nothing: Spider Run is free.

Anywhere in the world: the map has no borders. Besides the world leaderboard and the one for runners near you (5 km), in Spain, Portugal, France and the United Kingdom every city has its own leaderboard and season podium.

When you leave your territory you start leaving a trail. If you get back to your territory or cross your own trail, a loop closes and everything inside is yours (from 400 m², so GPS noise doesn't count). If there was another player's territory inside, you steal it.

If another player crosses your trail while running, you lose it and start a new one from where you are. Your territory stays untouched: inside it you're safe.

They're two separate maps. In Global your territory is yours forever (unless it's stolen). The Season lasts 3 months and is the same for the whole world: when it ends, the podiums are saved and the map starts over, empty. You choose where to play when you start each run.

A streak counts the days in a row on which you run at least 1 km. Every 7 days in a row you earn a rest day (you can keep 2): if you skip a day, it's used automatically and you keep your streak.

No. Above 25 km/h your points don't count for the game, and on a treadmill there's no movement to draw. Your run stats are still saved.

Your run keeps recording on your phone and is uploaded when you're back online. To keep the game fair, anything that arrives more than a minute late doesn't conquer or cut, but it still counts for your stats.

Spanish, English, Portuguese and French. You can change it in Menu › Language.

Only while you run: they see your square on the map and the trail you're drawing, because that's the game (it's how they can chase and cut you). When you're not running, nobody sees where you are. Nobody can see your past runs.

To protect your home or work, add a private zone in Menu › Privacy: inside it, nobody sees your position or your trail.

When someone steals your territory or cuts you, when the season ends, and when you're about to lose your streak. Never at night (22:00 to 8:00), at most one every 15 minutes, and never while you run. You can choose which ones in Menu › Notifications.

Tap their square or their territory on the map to open their card, and choose Block or Report. Once blocked, you no longer see their name or their position.
